Coming to meetings on Monday evenings is part of our practice. “Practice as though you have a fire on your head”.

This is a reminder that we are spiritual beings and we are spiritual beings whether or not we acknowledge it. We are in the play of life temporarily; if we do not see life as transient, then we are not living in reality. Without transience, life is mundane. Practice has a way of seeing who we are beyond life and death.

Review of weekly assignment: to discover parts of ourselves through the Big Mind process that we typically deny or repress-- our “shadow sides”. Tonight we looked at innocence, the pleaser, and sorrow, as well as the mind of the way.
